Description
The moment you put these on, you'll appreciate the highest levels of comfort combined with our meticulous manufacturing process which makes for quite simply the best and most comfortable desert boots in the world.
Unlined construction in ox-reverse suede from Italy, this is the best suede of them all, using full grain leather at its full weight (2.2mm) with the smooth grain side on the inside of the boot. This luxurious leather is beautifully soft yet thick in substance, for the ultimate in durable comfort.
The heel area inside the boot is lined with suede for durable heel grip, and the toe stiffener is inserted inside the leather by a special splitting process, resulting in a durable and comfortable unlined construction.
About the soles:
Lactae Hevea soles absorb up to 50% of walking impacts, return 80% of expended energy, offer elasticity of up to 6.5 times and have a repeated bending resistance Mattia of 1.10, a standardized test indicating high resistance to wear and tear from flexing.
With an exceptionally light density of just 0.9 g/cm³, they float on water while combining durability, natural breathability, and a velvety texture.

Manufacturing
Made to order in approx. 3 weeks at our workshop in Suffolk England, using the last known working British-made machinery from the 1960's specific to the manufacture of the stitchdown construction, delivering the most authentic British-made desert boots and shoes in the world - only from Jadd.
Leather Care
All our suedes can be kept clean with a suede brush and crepe rubber. Rub in one direction at a time, do not scrub. Loose fibers can be singed away with a lighter. When wet, allow to dry naturally over a few days.
All other leathers can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth, and conditioned with dubbin and/or beeswax based products to keep the appearance tidy as you see fit. Use neutral colour products to maintain the original appearance.

A wonderful Boot
"These are a wonderful boot, smooth, soft suede leather, with the insoles in it's like walking on air. Jadd assisting with sizing is a valuable added bonus. They arrived a few days earlier than predicted but absolutely worth the wait. I have a pair from a well known Italian competitor, they are good, but the level of finish on the Jadd boots is on another level."

"I dropped in to see Jadd in his factory. He stopped working to chat about his products, sourcing materials, and manufacturing procedure. I also tried on a couple of pairs to get my sizing right. "This is the third pair of Jadd boots I own, and I could not be happier with them. I ordered a pair of desert boots about 15 months ago, and Jadd wrote to me to make sure the size was appropriate. I subsequently received and was very happy with the shoes, and so recently I decided to get another two pairs. I reached out with an order, and Jadd corrected the size after looking back and reviewing my ordering records. He then asked me how they fit, and I gave him feedback.
