This luxurious full grain pure vegetable tanned leather from Italy has a drummed finish which brings out the soft natural grain. You won't believe how soft the 2mm leather feels as it effortlessly conforms and flexes to the shape of your feet for a slipper like feel. With key reinforcements to the topline and eyelet areas, our unlined construction is perfect to be enjoyed during the warmer months, summer after summer. Full 3mm leather insoles with padded leather heel socks made from a very special pure veg tanned leather with natural anti-bacterial properties resultant from its tannage.

Plantation rubber crepe soles complete the classic desert boot specification for a flexible and cushioned walking experience, the natural way. Choose a hard wearing Vibram sole, if you prefer. Beechwood shank included for arch support.

Please note that the natural finish will vary between each pair of shoes and is part of the charm of this leather, as well as the way it patinas over time. The appearance of your pair may differ in grain appearance to the pictures; this is how natural leather grain looks, full of depth and life versus the printed stuff.

Please use the table below as a guide. To measure foot length, you need to stand on a flat surface adjacent to a vertical plane such as a wall (without skirting boards) or cupboard. Place a ruler on the ground and butt it up against the wall, then stand on top of it with your heel against the same wall and take the measurement to the tip of your longest toe.

Our lasts run true to size according to Standard Last Length measurements. If you are unsure which size to choose after taking your measurement, contact us and we will compare you measurement to our lasts for the most suitable size.

Looking at the table below, we give the shoe inside length by size. You want your foot length to be between 12-15mm under this measurement. If you prefer a little extra width for your little toe, choose a size closest to your foot length + 15mm.
